Outside

Outside of the religious milonga,
it began to rain
They were the crowd dressed to avoid osmosis.
The music was like their silk handkerchiefs being gathered
by the masculine dj
And the crowd was like the great awakening,
abandoned by adolescents at play
The only one with the skylights
I've never seen before
They say one must close their eyes when
sneezing, and untroubled
women will say more than that.Their sweat beyond
smell was collected
by the phrasing, the dancer
on their roof finished the hug for
the razing.

An uppercut

An uppercut
on the dance floor
A breeze-unlocked door
An unwanted kiss, an un-stepped-on four,
an averted distraction,
a couple naturally touching foreheads
sorry embraces
a lifted breathing symbol
placid, tense, and further
unforgettable faces.

A New Tango Documentary

Igor Polk in San Francisco has written a review of the DVD "Susana Tango Pial"

It sounds like a very good film, and I look forward to seeing it. People can order the DVD from Igor.
